End of an era// STUDIO SHOOT

With the end of my first year at uni looming (deadline day is tomorrow) I have decided to blog.

I haven't blogged in months due to be literally too busy but I have had some interesting projects lately that I thought i'd share.

The first of my projects, was a studio shoot with a standard pair of sunglasses... I was lucky enough to shoot two different models, John Meadows and Shahir Figueira, here are some of my shots...

So with the recent freezing weather in London, I thought I best purchase a few new trousers, one of which are these topshop 'Poppy jaquard treggings' although they're explained as treggings, the detail of the button does make them feel like trousers, even though they fit like leggings they are thick and extremely comfortable - I love them!

Poppy Jaquard Treggings, Topshop £28
Black crop top, Primark, £2
Pembury platforms, ASOS, £30
Tonight, I am going for little pub outing, so I decided to team it with a casual leather jacket, scarf and satchel bag. Perfect for a saturday night!
DP leather jacket
Satchel bag, Urban outfitters (a christmas present)
My beautiful tan colour satchel my boyfriend got me for christmas!
Oh and check out my latest nails, they look like little ice creams, bang on trend with the pastel colours!

Photography project no. 2, 1920's, Indian style.

So, the 2nd project, I helped with for my friends university project was the most enjoyable. My make up was done by a make up artist and it was all round a fun day, not to mention the beautiful clothes I wore... which makes me want an Indian wedding so badly. Truly stunning clothes.

with the be-a-u-tiful make up artist.

Modelling for a university project no. 1

As I haven't blogged, as I've been over whelmed by my university projects, I thought I'd take time out to blog a little, on one of the photo shoots I helped with for a uni friend (Mr Miles)

With and army style theme, using a gas mask with inspiration taken from Thorsten Brinkmann (covers subjects face in several material. He seems pleased with the outcome to use for his magazine project.

Even though halloween isn't that big of a deal in England, everyone here still loves a dress up don't we?

And even though I didn't go out and celebrate due to working nights in a pub, I did get to dress up for work, twice (we had a whole halloween weekend)

On the thursday (actual halloween) I dressed as a doll, pig tails, Tim burton inspired make up and a collared dress...

Creepy doll make up, halloween dress up
Navy collared dress: Topshop £45
Lipstick: Sleek matte in 'VAMP'

On friday night, I changed over to a creepy mime outfit... Bright white face, rosie cheeks, make up dripping for my eyes and red doll lips...

Mime make up
Stripey top and neck scarf: both H & M
Rimmel Glam Eyes professional liquid liner, used to frame my eyes and create the tear drop marks
Lasting finish soft colour mono blush in 'Pink rose'
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick: shade 110
Mime (myself) and the beautiful Black swan (Louise) at work
The pumpkins I prepared for work, cat and bat mouthed pumpkins
Thanks for reading,
Hope you all had an amazing halloween

OOTD: Tartan threads and buckle boots

So yesterday, I had a long day doing some tests shoots for my university magazine project, which is next tuesday (excited). I had to go all the way up to Earl's court, taking some ideas and inspiration with my model.

I thought I'd blog my outfit for the day, as its quite hard sometimes to find something comfortable and suitable in this weather for photographing but at the same time keeping in with the fashion... (I'd love to go around being comfortable in leggings and a tee photographing, but I'd be cold and look a tiny bit trampy....)

Tartan dress with pockets: Urban Outfitters,  ££birthday present
Heeled buckle boots: Daisy Street, £34.99

Tartan dress, on trend this season as well as being comfortable and easy to move in: (a favourite piece of clothing of mine!!)
Floral mini satchel: ASOS

I love this little satchel by ASOS, however it is a struggle to fit thing into!
I will keep you posted on my magazine shoot next week!

OOTD/OOTN: 60's style party

So this weekend I joined one of my friends to celebrate her 20th Birthday (Happy birthday Beccy), everyone looked fabulous, and the night was all in all a good night.

I chose my look inspired by both Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn, 60's icon... (I took Audrey's beehive, and Twiggys heavy eye make up)

My eye make-up inspiration
How my make up came out:
Rimmel Glam eyes liquid eyeliner in black for the socket line, flick, and under eye line
Benefit 'They're real' mascara
Rimmel, Kate Moss lipstick in 001
Here is what make up I used, I went for a subtle flick and exaggerated the socket line eyeliner more.

Also my 60's styled nails...

I went for a 60's patterned playsuit from Motel Rocks as it was a lovely shape and saw it and instantly fell in love with it. The pattern is a really beautiful pattern and could be worn again to dress up or down.

With the beautiful Poppy, both rocking the beehive look.
My playsuit: Motel rocks £45
